Titan vs. Titan XD
The 2021 Nissan Titan pickup truck comes in two variants, the Titan and Titan XD. Both the Titan and Titan XD share similar features and the same powerful 5.6L V8 engine across all trims. The Titan is available in a crew or King Cab, and a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain. The Titan XD is only available with a crew cab and 4x4 drivetrain. The larger Titan XD offers more payload and towing capacity than the Titan, thanks in part to its larger cargo bed. Additionally, the Titan XD can be equipped with high-capacity front springs and a gooseneck hitch, both unavailable for the Titan.
